No Random Acts

The thought of people being connected is extraordinary. “That there are no random acts. That we are all connected. That you can no more separate one life from another you can separate a breeze from the wind.” This quote from “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” by Mitch Albom explains how the world is planned and is all interconnected. Life is all connected in one way or another. Many people do not understand how we all of our lives are intertwined. Your actions will change the way another person’s life will go on. I never understood how the world really developed. After reading “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” my mindset on life really altered. My mindset has developed into accepting the fact that everything happens for a reason. The thought of everything happening for a reason bothers many people. As in “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” the protagonist, Eddie is a ride mechanic at Ruby Pier. Throughout the story Eddie grows up and affects the lives of others. For example, when Eddie was younger he was throwing a ball back and forth. Not too long afterwards, the ball flew into the street. He then ran and grabbed the ball as what any other child would do. From another point of view, there was a man who swerved out of the lane to save Eddie’s life. While preforming this life altering action, the man then started to panic and pass away due to the anxiety and fear. Therefore, all lives are connected in one way or another. Unfortunately, people do not take this message seriously. When people preform actions that they know they should not be doing, they do not take it into account that it could possibly affect someone else besides them. People do not think that it will harm anyone else. In conclusion, my point of stating my opinion was to hopefully change your mindset on how you talk and act to other people. Whatever you do, it could drastically change someone elses’ life.
